In G D Goenka International School, Rohtak, the students not only learn the topics but also learn how to use that knowledge in their day to day life. As a part of this learning process students made the Maths Project based on the topic of Different shapes and their area. The activity involved the uses of different shapes like square, rectangle, Circle, Cube, Cuboid etc.
This activity helped them to use the concept of different shapes and area in their real life. They chose the topics like City of Shapes, representation of Park. They prepared their project with great enthusiasm and decorated it well. The idea behind this activity was to involve the students actively in Mathematics and to make students understand the idea of using different shapes in their day to day life.
