English Language Week was celebrated at G.D. Goenka International School, Rohtak.  by organizing many activities.

For Grade 3 and 4, Grammar Quiz was conducted. Winners for which have already been declared.

For Grade 5 and 6, Creative Writing Competition was held. The topics were- Festivals or How we Celebrated Independence Day. Many students gave excellent write-ups out of which winners are as mentioned below-

1^st position- Ashi and Kavay                1^st Position- Nalin

2^nd Position- Mahi                               2^nd Position- Janvi

3^rd Position- Nandika                           3^rd Position- Aryaman

For Grade 7 and 8, Poem Writing Competition was conducted. The topic was ‘Teachers’ and students were asked to give original entry. Winners are as under-

1^st position- Nehal                               1^st Position- Abhijeet

2^nd Position- Aryan  Rana                 2^nd Position- Payal

3^rd Position- Aditi                                3^rd Position- Tamanna

For Grade 9 and 10, Speech Competition was conducted and the topics were ‘Importance of English’ or ‘What freedom really means’. Three winners were declared from both the classes. They are as under-

1^st position- Kunal and Nitin

2^nd Position- Nikita

3^rd Position- Rishabh

Also, Calligraphy Competition was conducted for all the classes and out of every class 3 winners were declared.
