Today, GD Goenka International School, Rohtak celebrated Diwali with great zeal and enthusiasm. Diwali being the biggest festival of Hindus was much awaited moment to celebrate in school. Our students had variety of activities to perform. We claim ourselves to be the best school and we have reasons for it. Everybody can teach the concept of Deepavali through classroom lectures but we infused the essence of this great festival by organizing Classroom door decoration competition, Diya making competition, Rangoli making competition, Poster making competition and Slogan Writing competition. Students showed their talent, team work and innovative ideas.
A beautifully organized cultural program was conducted where students were sunk in the tunes of festive songs. Dance troupe of Goenka added flavor to the celebration by performing excellent Lakshmi Vandana. Their vibrant costumes and make-up made them much more elegant. Principal Ma’am and AD Sir reminded the students to make it a Green Diwali.
