The Verses in the Bhagavad Gita (sacred book narrated by lord Vishnu) say, that “Whenever there will be predominance of evil and decline of religion, I will reincarnate to kill the evil and to save the good”. Janmashtamialso celebrates togetherness. The holy occasion brings people together, thus it signifies unity and faith. Continuing with the sacred tradition, GD Goenka International school Rohtak celebrated Lord Krishna’s Janmashtamion 24th August 2016. The School witnessed fancy dress competition for Nursery, K.G, Grade I and II. It was the most awaited event. It is always a pleasure to watch the toddlers dressed up as different characters and stuttering away their dialogues and speeches.

The students came forward displaying their vibrant costumes. The few to list out were the faries, A Confident Inspector, Brave Soldiers, Natkhat Kanha, Radha Rani and many more. There was 100% participation. The competition brought an amiable ambience and the judges, Respected AD Sir (Mr. Rajesh Jain) and our Principal ma’am, Mrs. Asha Rana retorted with their applause. It was indeed a tough competition and the judges had a tougher time choosing 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes amongst them.

The competition results are as follows:
Nursery “YatharthVashist in 1st position, Nirvik and Shivansh were in 2nd and 3rd position respectively. K.G Arik was in 1st position, DakshKundu and Satvik in 2nd position and Mitali and Niyati on 3rd position. From Grade I and II many children were there in 1st, 2nd and 3rd position.
