GDGIS, Rohtak celebrated Teachers’ Day on 5^th September as a day of honouring teachers and paying a tribute to their valuable contribution to the society. Teachers not only impart knowledge and enlighten but also shape the career of students. They are the role models for their students. They are the main driving force, an inspiration and motivation for the students. A teacher is rightly described as a friend, philosopher and guide. They consume themselves to lighten and brighten the path of their students. Celebrating the same theme a cultural entertainment program was put up by the students and teachers also showcased their talents.

It was a mixed bag of events with songs, dance performances, mime and a ramp show. Mr Harbir Sir (HOD Sports) was honoured on this occasion for training and coaching the school students. Under his able guidance the coaches trained and performed so well and students have brought many laurels at district and state level. The celebration culminated with the distribution of gifts to all the worthy mentors.
