Invitation for INTER SCHOOL ART MEET (24^th November 2016)

We feel immense pleasure in extending this invitation to you for the Inter School Art Meet at our school. This meet will include the following Art Competitions in which the budding artists of your school can participate.

Details are as follows:

1. ON THE SPOT PAINTING COMPETITION

Duration: 90 mins.

Topic (any one)

• Unity in Diversity.
• Pollution in metro cities.

1. POSTER MAKING COMPETITION

Time Duration: 60 mins

Topic (any one):

• Effects of Corruption on common man.
• Importance of Natural Resources.

1. CARTOON MAKING COMPETITION

Duration: 60 mins.

Topic (any one)

• Effects of Inflation on common man.
• Eve-teasing in the Society.

Size of sheet for competition a, b and c will be A3 cartridge, only one sheet will be given.

Medium: Students will bring their own stationery and can use any medium i.e. water colours, poster colours, oil pastels, pencil colours, photo colours, permanent inks. Students who want to use water based colours are suggested to bring their rag pieces and water containers.

1. RANGOLI DESIGNING COMPETITION

Duration: 120 mins.

Topic: Any Geometrical or free hand design.

(Students are not allowed to draw Gods or spiritual signs on the floor.)

   Max. Size: 3×3 ft.

Students can use any of the medium, i.e. coloured marble dust, coloured wood dust, Gulaal, coloured rice, flowers, dry colours. Any experiment and neatness will be appreciated.

Groups:

Junior group: From grade 5^th to 7^thgrade.

Senior group: From grade 8^th to 10^thgrade.

Participation details:

1. Only one student can participate in any one of the competitions from the groups.
2. Last date of the enrollment for participation is 21^st November 2016, (Monday till 1 pm.)
3. Only one teacher is allowed to accompany the participants.
4. Refreshment will be provided.
5. Students need to carry their school id cards and will come in their school uniform only.
6. Participants must reach by 10 am on 24^th November 16, so that after the registration process we can start our competition at 10:30 am
7. Results will be declared and winners will be glorified on the same day of competition.
8. School’s art teacher will select the prize winning students on his own and send the results on the school email. Id.
9. Decision of judging committee will be final, No disputes on the issue will be entertained later.
10. School will not pay any transport allowance.
11. Use of Printed or sketched reference is strictly prohibited .If any student found by using it; He/she will be disqualified from the competition immediately.
12. Originality and innovative ideas will be appreciated.
13. Students can purchase food items from canteen by paying their own.
