GD Goenka International School Rohtak is celebrating English Language Week from 22nd August to 26th August. Few years down the line, English would replace our mother tongue. So, we at GD Goenka Rohtak not only prepare our students to pass with flying colours in their examination but also nurture them to face challenges of life. Inter House Grammar quiz for grade 3rd and 4th was the first event of English Language Week. There were 3 participants of each house. It’s a great spring ….. Great activity for kids.
Students of kindergarten enjoying hand on activity by making sunflowers using fork prints and paint.
The theme of activity was fork printing and sunflower craft. Students participated in this activity and individually participated and learnt new tactics.
Learning is fun with hands on activity.
August is an eventful month, as it marks national, religious and social festivals such as Independence Day, Friendship Day, Raksha Bandhan, Janamashtmi and Ganesh Chaturthi. Hence, our children are exposed to the essence and flavour of these festivals through fun-filled events and celebrations involving music, dance, skits, stories, activities. At GDGIS celebrations of these festivals have become an integral part of joyful learning, , and thought provoking processes.
