Today "Red Day" was celebrated at GD Goenka International School Rohtak. In order to infuse the concept of red color to the tiny toddlers. The GD Goenka School Rohtak pre-primary wing celebrated “RED DAY” in the school premises. RED RED RED everywhere 21st October 2016 was a day to remember. Teachers and children of pre-nursery to class 2nd were all dressed in Red color.
Students had bought some red colored fruits, toys. Children spoke various sentences on different red colored fruits and toys.

GD Goenka Rohtak organized a small excursion for the little toddlers to “BREWBERRY” which is in the D-Park, in the heart of the city. Going on excursion is not just an entertainment trip but it is also an opportunity to experience life beyond the class room with their teachers, peers or family. Such excursions help to enhance knowledge and observe the social system.

The habit of letter writing is dying out with invention of short messaging service and mails. To create interest among students, we conducted Hindi Application Writing Competition for the students of 3rd B and they displayed great zeal and enthusiasm. The topic was writing a letter to the Principal for taking medical leave. Almost all the students performed very well. But as it was a competition, three winners had to be decided. The position holders are as under-
1st position was shared by two students: Vanshul and Suraj
2nd position was secured by Manan
3rd position was taken by Ayaan.

A SGFI Distt. Cricket Tournament was held at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Rohtak on 24th August 2016. Three students of our school have been selected for state level tournament, under – 14 will be held at Gurgram from 21-09-2016 to 23-09-2016 and under – 17 will be held at Jhajjar from 08-10-2016 to 10-10-2016. We congratulate all our students and our cricket coach “Mr. Amit Kumar” for these achievements.
