7th season of the International Robotronics Competition Was Held in GD Goenka International School Rohtak

Today, GD Goenka International School, Rohtak was a host to Second Qualifier of the 7^th season of the International Robotronics Competition popularly called as IRC League. It is 7^th consecutive year of IRC League and this year’s theme for the challenge is “You are the Change.” The problems that are bothering our world currently are highlighted through problem statements in IRC7. Solving everyday near and far problems, such as deforestation or waste management system, is done by putting forth these challenging situations before students in competition. There were about 15 teams from different schools and everyone showed Great Spirit.

Under the expert guidance of Robotics Trainer and Computer Faculty of our school, Mr. Sumit Sharma, our students were very well prepared as they were provided with training classes of Robotics on everyday basis. We are proud that GD Goenkans have secured commendable positions in each category. Students were divided in three categories, that is, Senior Group, Middle Group and Junior Group. Our students secured positions as under:

Senior Group: 2^nd position. Team members– Shriyansh (10 A) and Saksham (10 B)

Middle Group: 2^nd Position. Team members- Kunal(9 A), Jatin (9 A) , Paryag (9 A) , Rishabh Sansanwal (9 A)

Junior Group: 2^nd position. Team members- Tanishq (6 B), Vishal Ahlawat (6 B), Prashant (6 B) and Uttkarsh (6 B).
